MFE
Music for Everyone exists to cultivate the power of music as an educational and community well-being tool to transform lives in Lancaster County.
MFE eliminates barriers to music access so that everyone can experience the transformative power of music.

All participants should be at least 50 years of age. There is a $25 entrance fee per participant. An event tee shirt will be provided for each participant. While the recomended skill level is difficult to quantify, all participants should be able to play their respective instruments or sing at least at the advanced beginner to intermediate level. If you are a guitar player for example, you should be at the level that allows you to contribute to making music with others (able to easily play major and minor chords and/or play easy solos). Bottom line is this: if you can play and/or sing reasonably well, but have not taken it to the level of playing on stage in front of a live audience, this program is for you. If you’ve played in smaller localvenues but never on the big stage, this program may very well help you take it to the next level.

We would welcome professional musicians/singers to help as mentors but prefer less experienced bands/players to be the ones on stage the night of the concert. If you play in a band, great! If not, we will put you in an existing band or create a new one with other individual musicians (you can create
your own band name!). If you are in a band, you might be asked to accommodate those who are not to allow as many participants as possible (within reason).
